Adjara Group Hospitality’s approach to Corporate Social Responsibility is defined by not only contributing to the society, but inspiring our guests, partners, and even competitors to make a difference in the lives of those, who are in greater and more immediate need.
Our young and progressive team has grasped the importance and magnitude of CSR since opening the Rooms Kazbegi hotel, after personally witnessing how rewarding it can be for needy members of a small rural community.
Adjara Group Hospitality has turned the Kazbegi area into an emerging tourism hub.
Aside from creating job opportunities, the Rooms Kazbegi hotel has been contributing to the local community for over 3 years by renting local houses for the staff as well as purchasing fresh organic products like: milk, cheese, vegetables and meat in high volumes.
We have also made a financial sacrifice by omitting the most famous Georgian traditional dish “Khinkali” from the Rooms Kitchen menu, so that the local community could benefit from producing it in small family-owned restaurants for the guests of our hotel. In addition, we have been providing customers to local businesses offering horse-riding and SUV tours of the mountains and historic sights around the region as well as other locally produced goods and services.
Adjara Group Hospitality has enriched its corporate culture with a new tradition of bringing happiness and joy to the members of the community with low means during the New Year. For the last two years, instead of sending New Year gifts to our business partners and corporate clients, Adjara Group Hospitality has been sending them inspirational cards with small stories and photos showing where, when, and for whom we made the New Year so special and memorable through our unique CSR approach.
In 2013, the Rooms Kazbegi Hotel Kitchen made a pre New Year food donation to a number of families in the local community. In addition, the Holiday Inn Tbilisi hotel organized a New Year party for the children with the Down Syndrome at the Kojori orphanage.
All three Hotels owned and operated by Adjara Group Hospitality (Holiday Inn Tbilisi, Rooms Tbilisi and Rooms Kazbegi) have morally and financially contributed to raising awareness of ALS in the world through Ice Bucket Challenge. Holiday Inn Tbilisi has also joined a number of IHG member hotels in the unique program called “Shelter in a Storm,” providing Emergency aid to survivors of disasters. Over the course of the company’s existence, thousands of people have benefited from our CSR practices, which is an important reminder of how little we need to do in order to make a huge impact on the lives of others through every dollar you spend with us!
