Adjara Group Hospitality (AGH) joins the campaign of recovering Borjomi National Park and contributes the funds sufficient for 100 trees. We think that the restoration of the forest in Borjomi National Park is urgent, otherwise, according to studies carried out by scientists of WWF and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), damages to the natural forest will become irreversible.
Borjomi National Park is one of the largest parks in Europe. It has always been distinguished with rare and native tree species as well as unique plants. The 2008 Borjomi wildfires started in Borjomi, Georgia on August 15, 2008 and lasted for several days, destroying of 950 hectares of forest and decimating nearly 350 hectares, which were burnt to the ground.
We happily join this initiative and hope that many Georgian companies will stand together for the better future of our country.
