Travel Updates & Health Safety

Georgian public and private institutions have been working tirelessly to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.  As a result, Georgia is now internationally recognized as a “green zone”, safe for travel. Currently, there are less than 160 active cases of COVID-19

The tourism industry is gradually resuming in the country through local tourism. Authorities are currently working on a safe plan to reopen international borders.

The hospitality sector has an important responsibility of minimizing any health risks at hotels, restaurants, bars, and other establishments.

Our close collaboration with the Georgian government and UNWTO throughout the pandemic helped shape safety standards for the Georgian hospitality industry. Our new regulations ensure physical distancing, prioritize enhanced cleanliness, promote personal hygiene, and make it possible to immediately identify any health threats within our facilities.
